September 26, 2023 – SBG - Skill Based Games, the parent company distributing and managing GotSkill? was in attendance at Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Canada National Conference for Victims of Impaired Driving this past weekend to give the organization a cheque for $172,515.00.
GotSkill? is a recognized Official Sponsor of MADD Canada, supporting the national charity’s services and programs. Annually, GotSkill? donates a minimum of $100,000 towards MADD Canada’s good work.
GotSkill? President Tony Carvalho comments, “We are very proud of our affiliation with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and its efforts to halt impaired driving. Their support for victims of impaired driving is invaluable. Also, their work to raise greater awareness of the tragedies of impaired driving is something GotSkill? is pleased to be contributing to with our media campaign on our video consoles.”
GotSkill? promotes responsible drinking by displaying a MADD Canada message on their video screens. In a single year, the MADD Canada – GotSkill? message is seen nearly 1,000,000 times in Ontario restaurants, pubs and drinking establishments with this partnership.
GotSkill? players are also presented with the option to donate to MADD Canada – and many do pay forward their winnings to the charity.
Since the company’s inception in June 2016, GotSkill? has donated more than $820,000 to MADD Canada’s victims’ services and programs. Even through the pandemic years of 2020 – 2022, GotSkill? donated a total of $365,000.
